We stay here whenever we go to Grand Marias & love this family run lodging. I recommend these cabins to anyone traveling to G.M.

Loved our stay here!!! It was a last minute decision - we were tenting it but it started to pour and was to rain for 24+ hours! SO GLAD THEY HAD A ROOM FOR US!!!!! We had our dog with us and they didn't bat an eye. Small extra charge for a pet bit we didn't care. VERY REASONABLE and cute older style cabin feel. We were comfy and dry = priceless!!! Would DEFINITELY return here! =)
We stayed in cabin number 4 and it was nice but very tiny. I LOVE that they allow pets! We were right by some woods that I walked my dogs through and they loved it. The only things that bothered us a bit was a sewer odor coming from the bathroom and when I went to talk to her at the front desk she was out on an errand. Not a big deal at all!
We've stayed at Trailside each year when we take a vacation to Grand Marais, they have the best prices, they're great people and we love how cute the cabins are!
