Pretty nice campground, but very crowded. We ended up staying there as a last resort due to poor planning. Regardless, everyone was very nice and it's in a prime location. I would definitely stay there again. Note: I was tent camping in an RV lot.
Beautiful location in a nice little town. Friendly people. But this place seriously needs maintenance. Could be beautiful but looks really seedy. Long term rental sites look a mess, knee high in weeds, and junk piled under campers. Sites are not level, roads full of potholes. Shower heads need replacing. Feels like we are camping next to the Clampets.
Affordable campground right on Lake Superior. We had a great time hiking around the area and thought the staff, and fellow campers, were all very friendly. It is also walking distance to town where you can find great shops, little restaurants, and a couple breweries.
Beautiful campground in an amazing location. Great for tenting or RV's. On site marina, outdoor playground, softball field, nature trail, boat landing, picnic area (with reservable pavilion) and river rock beach. Hundreds of sites in waterfront and woodsy areas. Four separate bathhouses ensure that you don't need to travel too far to shower or take care of business. Less than five minute walk away from downtown.
LOVE the honeymoon hill campsite here!!! Your own personal creek with a wooden bridge where you cross over to your campsite! Bathrooms and showers are nice as well.
