This place was the perfect retreat! The cabins are well maintained and the lodge is very welcoming. Clearwater lake is a stunner!
We stayed in the lodge in the Petra room. You share a bathroom with a couple rooms, we only had to wait once. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
Beautiful view of Clearwater. We stayed at the lodge, but would love to try one of their cabins someday. The outfitted canoe day trip to Rose Falls was the highlight of our trip!
Wonderful. Loved everything. Even had a perfect little library with northern MN crime thrillers. On point.
Clearwater Lodge was a second choice after our other lodge was full. SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE by happenstance! Love the rustic but very accommodating lodge and rooms. The history makes it even more enjoyable. The Gear shack next to the lodge is a super plus if you do not have your plans made in advance. We were there only one night on Oct. 13 but definitely plan to be back and bring more family with us. The pancakes were delicious, too!
