They are always super helpful and have tons of information and hints to offer about the surrounding area and route conditions/difficulty.
Andy and Ada were incredibly hospitable in getting My friends and I fully outfitted for a week in boundary waters. They gave us valuable advice on routes, conditions, sites to see and what to bring on the trip. My group was pretty experienced in the wilderness travel, and they catered to our level of experience. The equipment we rented was high quality, and in some cases, I even left my equipment at the lodge in favor of their higher quality stuff. When we returned from our trip we were met with towels for showers and an enthusiastic questions about the route. The professionality and high quality that is exhibited at tuscarora will definitely bring me back. I highly recommend this outfitter!
We stayed in cabin 2 which is about three steps from Round Lake. There's a nice hiking trail right out the cabin door. Great rustic cabin that was very clean. There was a homemade loaf of raisin bread waiting for us. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be going back again!
Was not what we thought it would be, but we had a good stay ... needs a deck and porch on all cabins , lake access from.each cabin...
