#1 Best place to stay on the north shore! Private beach, trails, even access to a private river, all on 18 acres, in the middle of everything!!! The most unbelievable part is that it is also the best value around! You will feel welcomed & at home here. The owners are so friendly & truly care about you enjoying your stay!
Great place to stay in the Grand Marais area! Todd and Holly are very welcoming hosts and keep the rooms spotless. Beautiful views of Lake Superior from your room window and great hiking right behind the parking lot. Definitely coming back again!
Stayed just one night in Dec 2017 & the owners were so wonderful! Flexible, understanding, and sent me an important item I left behind very quickly and securely. Also very helpful with tips about the area and timings for restaurant hours in Grand Marais. The room was warm and clean, bed comfortable, it was quiet. I loved the extra lighting - 2 lamps! And the power strip for charging phone, camera battery, etc. Beautiful lake view out the window sitting at the table. Only wish I'd had more time.
Stayed 3 days and 2 nights in the kitchen suite. Very friendly owners. I asked for new sheets because I found hairs on our sheets when we were settling down. They brought new ones right over. They recommended places to hike. Provided board games for us to play and were just great people. Would recommend this place. Lake superior right across the street.
Great views of Lake Superior and a walking trail in back leading to the Superior Hiking Trail. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is great and accommodating. We'll definitely stay here again :)
