Camped here overnight. The bathrooms were quite decent for a campsite of this level. The trail is all up hill then down a long flight of stairs to the falls. You can get somewhat close but you will get a nice mist on you just sitting on the rocks nearby.
Glad to finally make it to this park. Good long walk to the Devil's kettle. A nice elevation change and a long staircase to get there. Very beautiful river that flows into Superior and picturesque all the to the lake
Cozy campground with awesome hikes. The Superior Hiking Trail runs through the park. Trail Includes vertigo inducing stairs down to the Upper Falls and on to Devil's Kettle on the Brule River. Nice forest bathing with largest cedar
All Minnesota parks are fabulous and well maintained. The North Shore parks all have their own unique beauty. Hikes and views are stunning.
I enjoyed all of trails here, including the Devil's Kettle Falls. The trail can get a little muddy along the Brule river if the conditions are right. This is a good place to hike if you are up in the north woods.
