What an absolute delight. Wonderful just to browse the varied products but the best part was the super-fresh fish - we cooked it the same evening we bought it and it was excellent. Prepare to be impressed.
Excellent fresh fish menu. Not much space for parking. Small dining area, outside deck overlooks the working docks. But worth it.
Every time I order Fish and Chips from somewhere else, I am completely disappointed. This place has excellent Fish and Chips -no other place compares. They have great food, friendly and quick customer service and you can buy a variety of spreads and fish to take home. The out door patio in the back has a very nice view over looking the lake.
Their salmon chowder is the best! Great menu of fresh fish choices and great customer service. Be sure to take home some smoked fish!
I had the freshly caught trout basket with beer battered fries for $10! For the excellent portion you get here restaurants often charge $12-18 and that's before tip. The staff was great explaining the menu at the counter before ordering and let me taste test their soups, which were good, before I ultimately decided on the basket. The trout basket and fries were tasty. I'll be eating at Dockside Fish Market next time I'm in Grand Marais.
